Purchase Policy

This Purchase Policy applies to paid subscriptions and licenses purchased through ikson.com.

1. Creator Subscription

The Creator Subscription grants the account holder a non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use eligible music from the Ikson Music Library in their own creator content, subject to this Purchase Policy, the Terms of Service and the Usage Policy.

While the Creator Subscription is active, eligible music may be used in covered creator content without the need to give credit to Ikson.

Covered creator content means original content published through channels or accounts controlled by the subscriber, including content monetised through the platform on which it is published.

The Creator Subscription does not grant ownership of the music and does not allow you to resell, redistribute, sublicense or include the music in another musical work.

Client work, paid advertising campaigns, business use or other uses outside the standard Creator Subscription may require separate permission. Please contact Ikson before using the music in such cases.

2. Subscription Period and Cancellation

The rights granted by the Creator Subscription apply for the duration of the paid subscription period.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents future renewal, but your subscription and its permissions remain active until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Content first published while your Creator Subscription was active will continue to have the permissions granted by the subscription after the subscription ends. This includes the no-credit permission for that covered content.

New content published after the paid subscription period has ended is not covered by the Creator Subscription unless you subscribe again or use the music under the applicable free Usage Policy.

3. Free Music Library Use

A Creator Subscription is not required to access the Music Library.

Music may continue to be used for free under the conditions described in the Usage Policy, including any applicable credit requirements.

The Creator Subscription provides an additional paid permission for covered creator content and does not replace the general Usage Policy.

4. Business and Client Licensing

The Creator Subscription is intended for individual creators.

If you intend to use Ikson music for client work, paid advertising, business purposes or another use that falls outside the Creator Subscription, please contact Ikson to discuss the appropriate permission or license.

5. Misuse and Revocation

Permissions granted under a paid subscription may be suspended or revoked if the subscriber materially violates the Terms of Service, Usage Policy or this Purchase Policy, provides false account information, redistributes or sublicenses the music, uses the music outside the permissions granted, or uses the service for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

Ikson may also refuse permission for content that promotes hatred, racism, violence or fraud.

Content that was properly published and used in accordance with the applicable subscription terms will not lose its granted permission merely because the subscription later ends or the subscription offering changes.

6. Payments and Refunds

Subscription fees are charged for each applicable billing period.

Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewal but does not automatically refund the current billing period.

Payments are generally non-refundable except where a refund or right of withdrawal is required by applicable law. Nothing in this Purchase Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

7. Changes

Ikson may update subscription offerings, prices and these policies from time to time. Changes will not retroactively remove permissions already validly granted to content published in accordance with the terms that applied at the time.
