These Terms of Service govern your use of ikson.com and the services made available through the website.
ikson.com is operated by Ikson Music Publishing AB.
By using the website or its services, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription or license, you agree to these Terms together with any applicable Usage Policy, Purchase Policy and Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to the applicable terms, you should not use the relevant service.
ikson.com is the official website for Ikson.
The website may provide access to music, downloads, artist information, subscriptions, licenses, account services, contact functions and other related content or services.
The Music Library makes eligible music available for listening, downloading and use under the permissions described in the Usage Policy and, where applicable, a purchased subscription or separate license.
The availability and design of individual website features may change over time.
Music made available through the Music Library may be used under the conditions described in the Usage Policy.
Eligible free usage generally requires appropriate credit unless credit is automatically provided through the platform being used or another applicable permission removes the credit requirement.
Access to the Music Library does not by itself transfer ownership or copyright in any music.
Downloading or purchasing a copy of a track from ikson.com or another platform does not grant additional usage rights beyond those specifically provided by Ikson.
An active Creator Subscription may provide additional rights for eligible creator content, including permission to use covered music without giving credit.
The exact scope of the Creator Subscription, the applicable subscription period, cancellation rules and the treatment of content published during an active subscription are described in the Purchase Policy.
The Creator Subscription is intended for individual creators.
Client work, paid advertising campaigns, business use and other uses outside the standard Creator Subscription may require separate permission or licensing.
An account may be required to purchase or manage certain subscriptions, licenses or other account-based services.
You are responsible for providing accurate information where it is necessary for the service or license being provided.
You are also responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account.
You must not impersonate another person, provide deliberately false information in connection with a purchase or license, interfere with another user's account, or attempt to bypass account or security restrictions.
Ikson may restrict, suspend or terminate an account where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, abuse, unauthorised access, material violation of these Terms or misuse of the services.
Unless otherwise stated, music, artwork, text, branding and other original content made available through ikson.com remains owned or controlled by Ikson and/or the relevant rights holders.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of that intellectual property to you.
Permissions to use music are limited to the rights expressly granted through the Usage Policy, Purchase Policy, a subscription, an individual license or separate written permission.
Where music includes collaborators or other rights holders, the applicable rights and permissions may also be subject to agreements with those parties.
Where allowed by the Usage Policy or an applicable license, you may make reasonable edits necessary to fit music to your content, such as cutting, fading, adjusting duration or changing volume.
You may not use Ikson music as material for another musical work unless you have received explicit permission.
This means, among other things, that you may not release, remix, sample, resell, redistribute, sublicense or otherwise present the music, or substantial parts of it, as your own music.
You may not use ikson.com or its services to:
Reasonable technical limits may be applied to protect the Music Library and website infrastructure against automated abuse or excessive activity. Such limits do not change the normal permissions granted to legitimate users under the Usage Policy or an applicable license.
Ikson music and other protected content made available through ikson.com may not be used to train, fine-tune or develop artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models without explicit permission from the applicable rights holder, except where such restriction cannot lawfully apply.
This restriction does not prevent ordinary permitted use of the music in creator content under the Usage Policy, Purchase Policy or another applicable license.
Online platforms may use automated copyright, Content ID or similar systems.
Although Ikson intends to respect permissions legitimately granted under the applicable policies or licenses, Ikson cannot guarantee that third-party platforms or automated systems will never incorrectly identify, restrict, mute or claim content.

Paid subscriptions and licenses are subject to the Purchase Policy together with these Terms.
Payment processing may be provided by third-party payment providers such as Stripe and, for certain historical transactions, PayPal.
Pricing, billing periods and the specific permissions included with a purchased product will be presented when applicable.
Nothing in these Terms or the Purchase Policy is intended to remove or limit mandatory consumer rights that apply under applicable law.
Ikson may add, modify or remove website functionality, content or services as ikson.com develops.
The website may also be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues, security incidents or circumstances outside Ikson's reasonable control.
Changes to the website or future product offerings do not retroactively remove usage permissions that were validly granted to content under the terms that applied when that content was published.
Changes affecting an ongoing paid service will be handled subject to the applicable agreement and mandatory law.
Access to an account or service may be suspended or terminated where a user materially violates these Terms, the Usage Policy, Purchase Policy or an applicable license, or where action is reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security threats or unlawful activity.
Termination of an account does not automatically remove rights already validly granted to content that was properly published in accordance with the applicable terms.
This does not prevent action against content or use that was never covered by the applicable permission or was created through fraud or material misuse.
ikson.com relies on third-party platforms and infrastructure for certain functions, including hosting, storage, payments, email, security, analytics and external music or social platforms.
Ikson Music Publishing AB cannot guarantee that third-party services will always operate without interruption, errors, automated claims or changes outside its control.
Where a problem concerns Ikson music or a service provided through ikson.com, reasonable efforts will be made to investigate and assist.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, remedies or other rights where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.
